ふゆ休み

私のふゆ休みはとてもみじかったです。うちに行きました。何もしませんでした！たのしかったです。

J-termですから、スミスに帰りました。:(　クラスに行きました。さむかったです。

今、私の母はヴィスアルけいがすきです。母はDとdeadmanとSugarを聞きました。

サンクスギビング

私の母と母のともだちとばんごはんを食べました。私はパイを作りました。ターキーをりょうりませんでした。Curryをりょうりました。

うちをそうじしました。今、うちはきれいですよ！でも、しゅくだいがたくさんあります。

日本のおんがく！

Someone told me they were afraid of my description of visual kei. Visual keiはこわくありません！よしきさんとまなさんは男の人です。

　よしきさんはX Japanにいました。

　まなさんはMalice Mizerにいました。

きれいですね。

日本にかぶき（kabuki theater)があります。かぶきに女の人がいません。So Japan already has a historical tradition of men playing women's roles in theater. It is probable that visual kei bands were influenced by this. (The actors specializing in women's roles are called onnagata.)

女の人があまりvisual keiにいません。でも、exist traceに男の人がいません。女の人です。


いぬがみサーカスだん（dog-god circus troupe)はあんぐらけいです。(Angura kei grew out of the angura or "underground" movement in the 1960's, which was a pro-Japanese response to Westernization. Angura kei bands today tend to use traditional Japanese elements in their style and music and are usually very politically aware.)　京子さんはうたっています。京子さんは女の人です。私はいぬがみサーカスだんがすきです。

わたしはうちにかえりました。わたしのねこがいました。ねこのなまえはGingerとGracieです。わたしのははとレストランにいきました。

月曜日にヌーヨークでVersaillesをききました。

Visual kei is a music genre in Japan where a lot of emphasis is put on the outfits and presentation of the band, in addition to the music. Most bands are all-male, and will have at least one of their male members wearing women's clothes.



Versailles claims that they are vampires from the Victorian era. たくさんばら（roses)があります。

I am studying Japanese for a number of reasons. The main one is that I have been listening to Japanese music for years, and I think the language sounds pretty. I have been interested in language and foreign languages for a long time and have already studied French and German, but for several years I have wanted to learn Japanese. I don't like anime very much, but I read some manga. I like ukiyo-e woodblock prints and visual kei musicians. I am also interested in East Asian culture and history.
